Móðir (meaning Mother in Old Norse) began as a small passion project, sparked by a love for illustration and the belief that the objects we live with should tell a story.

With a degree in Illustration, I found myself translating inspiration, from the unique silhouette of a Chinese vase to sketches along the Norfolk coast, into functional art. Due to their unexpected popularity, these designs quickly flourished into the lampshade business you see today.
